Competitions

The SOT organise a number of competitions throughout the year open to all members. At the first three meetings of the year, these are informal competitions to encourage members to show their work. A small prize is awarded for the winning entry and for the runners up. At the AGM in November, the competitions are more prestigious and a small monetary prize may be awarded in addition to the award cups.

Members are also encouraged to enter the biennial competitions for OT organised by the Worshipful Company of Turners.
